Promotional and Communicative Functions in the Brochures of Business Professional People University, UK in Comparison with Riphah International University, Pakistan: From a Genre Analysis Perspective

The study aimed to investigate and identify the structures of the brochures of Business Professional People University, UK and Riphah International University, Pakistan from a Genre Analysis Perspective. Both universities are recognized internationally. The aim was to investigate the rhetorical structures in these brochures. All the universities share in common those promotional structures for the sake of their advertisement. The proposed study aimed to identify the various moves in the brochures. It also analyzed the differences and similarities between them. This study explored the emotional links between the students and universities. The personal and impersonal relationships in these brochures to make successful bargaining with the students were examined respectively in a detailed and patterned way.
