The data obtained were analyzed using paired sample t-test. The findings revealed a significant difference in the mean motivation and academic performance scores of the students taught using think-pair-share strategy. It was recommended that workshops and seminars should be organized by school heads to orient chemistry teachers on how to effectively use think-pair-share strategy in the teaching and learning of chemistry.
