About the Journal

Pakistan Languages and Humanities Review (PLHR) is an international scholarly forum devoted primarily to research in language, literature, arts and the humanities. It provides space for rigorous academic work that examines texts, languages, cultures, ideas, identities, communication, artistic expression and related humanistic questions.

The journal is published by Orients Social Research Consultancy (OSRC) and operates as an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed publication. PLHR welcomes original research from established scholars as well as emerging researchers, provided that submissions meet the journal's academic, ethical and methodological expectations.

PLHR publishes in English and welcomes work using theoretical, conceptual, interpretive, qualitative, quantitative, historical, comparative or mixed approaches where appropriate to the research question. Interdisciplinary studies are particularly welcome when the connection between disciplines is intellectually meaningful rather than merely descriptive.
